Classification of inverters
According to the origin of the source
Active inverters are inverters that make current in the current circuit connect to the power grid on the AC side instead of directly accessing the load.
Passive inverter: an inverter in a current circuit that is directly connected to a load at the AC side without a connection to the power grid (i.e. alternating current to a certain frequency or adjustable frequency of AC supply)
According to the type of grid
Divided into off net inverters and grid connected inverters
By topological structure
It is divided into two level inverters, three level inverters, and multilevel inverters.
By power grade
It is divided into high-power inverter, medium power inverter and small power inverter.
